The Nanuet Robotics Team is a new and successful Nanuet Senior High School program, established by engineering teachers Mr. Steven Martin and Mr. Christopher Polizzi. The Robotics Team offers an amazing opportunity for students to learn technical skills such as machining, programming, and electronics, as well as providing enrichment in graphic design, website building, community outreach, fundraising, publishing, safety training, networking, leadership, and cooperation, among other valuable skills.
This year’s Robotics Team is comprised of a diverse group of Nanuet High School students who are eager to work and build one awesome bot for the annual FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Challenge, but in order to make this goal a reality, we ask for your support. Our team needs sponsors and donations to purchase the tools and materials that are critical to helping teach the valuable skills needed to design, build, and code a competitive robot. Hudson Valley Harley Davidson, Nanuet and Beyond and the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to help promote this cause.
The Nanuet HS Robotics club hopes to defray competition costs and parts to build the robots by selling sponsorships on the tee-shirts and then selling the tee shirts that will be worn by team members at competitions.
We thank you for your time and generosity and wish to thank Hudson Valley Harley Davidson for underwriting the cost of the tee-shirts (allowing the proceeds to benefit the Robotics team).
